PAYING FOR VEHICLES WITH CASH

New anti money-laundering legislation implemented by HM Customs and Excise under direction from the current UK government came into effect on 1st March 2004. To comply with these new rules, Orchid Cars will be able to accept cash payments, but a limit of 15,000 Euros (approximately £9,000) will apply. Cash means notes, coins and travellers cheques. The 15,000 Euros (approximately £9,000) cash limit is inclusive of any cash deposit, VAT, and any other service such as delivery. If you plan to spend more than 15,000 Euros (approximately £9,000), you may pay up to 15,000 Euros (approximately £9,000) in cash, and settle the balance by either cheque or telegraphic transfer.
