The 11.4 featured a four-cylinder monoblock side valve engine of 1,743 cc with a four-speed gearbox in unit construction. It has transmission and rear-wheel contracting-band brakes. The gate-change gear lever and handbrake are situated on the right of the driver and the car has a central throttle/accelerator pedal, as was customary at the time. This car was first registered on 26th November 1924 it spent its initial years in the north of England before roaming the country with different owners. More recently it had an engine rebuild by a Humber specialist in 1980 and only last year a new hood. It runs very well and has the typical trademark Humber 'V' windscreen and dashboard. The interior and dickey seat are upholstered in deep-buttoned brown leather whilst the exterior is finished in light caramel/ivory with brown wings. The beaded edge wheels are fitted with 760 x 90 tyres, with the spare mounted on the offside running board. There is a luggage rack at the rear for a trunk or picnic hamper. Accompanying the car is the original buff coloured logbook and handbook from 1924. It has been known to The Humber Register for many years and is well catered for by this enthusiastic club.
